“The New Corinthian Way”: Dominic Smart on 1 Corinthians 1:1-3

26 May, 2008

We’ve put a new element in the sidebar, called “Featured Audio”, where we’ll feature audio (big surprise) — whether sermons or chapel messages or interviews — we feel is well worth listening to. We’ll drop you a note each time we change it, but it will be available any time you click on the element.

This time we have a sermon from Dominic Smart, Brannan’s minister at Aberdeen, the first in a new series on 1 Corinthians (1:1-3). Check it out!

‘If Romans is Paul’s fullest and clearest account of what the gospel is, 1 Corinthians may be Paul’s most thorough statement of the life-walk which flows from and is informed and empowered by this gospel….”Called to be saints, sanctified in Christ Jesus” is the summary of the entire letter — the Corinthians are holy in Jesus and are called to now live as holy by the Spirit. Be what you are.
