Israel and the Church: Either/Or, Both/And, or Something Else?

17 October, 2008

Has the Church ‘replaced’ Israel as the people of God? If not, are there now two peoples of God? What’s the biblical standpoint? Scott Clark recently offered one helpful covenantal take and a much needed biblical corrective to false choices when it comes to the relationship between Israel and the Church. Read what he has to say: ‘Covenant Theology is not Replacement Theology’. Yet another brief but pointed example of the real need to approach the Bible in the (covenantal) way that it is written and arranged, the way it calls us to understand God and his ways, and ourselves.

He also has a wealth of other related material on covenant theology, here.

And C or C also has a lot more, here.

Your link, “And C or C also has a lot more, here,” at the end of the “Israel and the Church:
Either/Or, Both/And, or Something Else?” does not work. It goes to a 404 error page.

All fixed. It’s a link to our ‘The Covenants’ archive section, which you can also get to from the sidebar.
