Featured Audio: Imputed Righteousness Leads to Godly Living? Dominic Smart on Galatians 6

22 December, 2008

If Christ alone is all my righteousness and life, where’s my motivation for the Christian life of Dominic Smartgodliness?

How would Paul answer such questions? Well, it’s not how ‘would’ he answer, in fact, because he was confronted with such questions and he did answer them, in places like Galatians 6, where he wraps up his argument against adding anything to the grace of God in Christ by showing that only looking to Christ issues in Spiritual fruitfulness.

Listen to this great sermon on Gal 6 from Dominic, laying out the gospel-logic of free justification which alone truly flows out in self-giving love and creates fruit in and through us by the grace of the Spirit.

Rev. Grotenhuis preached on the Active Obedience of Christ last night at church. DS’s sermon on Gal 6 is a good explanation of how the doctrine of IAO does not encourage antinomianism.
